How to Create MIT Award Certificates

Step 1. Decide which of the certificate designs below you wish to use.(Design 1 or Design 2)

Step 2. Decide whether to have the certificates printed by Ambit Press, MIT's partner vendor (Option A) or print them yourself (Option B). See pricing and other factors to consider in your decision. Then follow the instructions below for the option you have chosen.

You may wish to use some of the following ancillary items (Tools & Resoucres):

  • MIT letterhead (downloadable) for invitations, etc.
  • MIT Branded folders (SKU 706-606) from Office Depot
  • Frames from Office Depot (see their catalog)

Download a copy of the Excel template below and enter the exact text you want on the award certificates. Send the Excel spreadsheet to Ambit as an email attachment solutions@ambitpress.com. Please read the order instructions below for details. If you have questions, please call Ambit at 617-876-3688. Ambit Press will typeset the certificates and send you one certificate as a PDF file for proof. Delivery of the certificates will be 3 to 5 business days after you approve the proof.

Purchase preprinted certificate stock (available in packages of 20 at $5.00 each) from Ambit Press. You may call Ambit to request delivery to your office or pick it up from their location in 5 Cambridge Center. Follow the instructions below to create the certificates yourself.
